FST Awards - London 25th March 2010

The tenth annual FST Awards 2010 were held on 25 March at the Lancaster London Hotel, London attracting guests from all sectors of the financial services industry. The FST Awards aim to recognise excellence and innovation in the field of information technology within the UK and EMEA financial sector. These prestigious awards are designed to emphasise the importance of IT as a key driver in business and to acknowledge and reward IT specialists working within the sector. The primary criteria for judging is the delivery of definable and significant business benefits, innovation and originality of application.

Stephen Griffiths, Managing Director of Whitmore Solutions Ltd attended the awards with a party from Fidelity International. Stephen has worked with Fidelity over the past year on the design and implementation of two new state of the art Tier 4 Data Centres. Fidelity were nominated as finalists in two categories:

• Data Centre Excellence Award
• Networking / Cabling Project of the year

Fidelity won the Data Centre Excellence Award for 2010. Many congratulations to them on this fantastic achievement.
