ITIL Training

 

In conjunction with our ISEB accredited ITIL V3 specialist training Partner, we are able to offer a complete ITIL training portfolio, ranging from introductory 'Awareness Workshops', through to the 'V2-V3 Managers Bridging course' (including associated examination preparation and sitting).

 

OVERVIEW FOR MANAGERS - 1 DAY

This IT workshop is designed for IT Managers directly or indirectly involved in the delivery or support of IT services. On completion, candidates will understand ITIL and the need for Service Management, its components and the benefits that can accrue from its implementation. This will enable them to understand the impact ITIL can make on Customer satisfaction and their return on IT investment.

 

OVERVIEW FOR TECHNICIANS - 1 DAY

This one day workshop is designed for people who work primarily in a technical role supporting IT services. On completion, participants will understand the importance of their supporting role in delivering quality services to their Customers. The workshop will overview ITIL from the technicians perspective, describing its components and the benefits that an organisation can achieve from its implementation.

 

ITIL ESSENTIALS - 2 DAYS

This practical workshop, based on the de-facto standard ITIL, is for IT staff at all levels who are involved in the delivery or support of IT services. It is suitable for anyone who wants an appreciation of ITIL Service Management. On completion, participants will be aware of the need for Service Management, its components, processes and disciplines, that bring an organisation business benefits. Particpants will learn how SLAs and Service Management are essential in ensuring IT delivers the services Customers demand.

 

ITIL V3 FOUNDATION - 3 DAYS

A three day practical workshop, based on the de-facto standard ITIL, is for IT staff at all levels who are involved in the delivery or support of IT services. On completion, participants will be aware of the need for Service Management, its components, processes and disciplines, that bring an organisation quantifiable business benefits. Participants will learn how each discipline contributes to successful Service Management and why they are essential in ensuring IT delivers quality services to Customers.

The workshop fully prepares participants for the ISEB V3 Foundation Certificate in Service Management (Green Badge). The formal ISEB examination will be organised to take place on the last afternoon of the course.

 

ITIL V3 FOUNDATION BRIDGE - 1 DAY

A one-day course designed for those who currently hold an earlier version of the ITIL Foundation certificate. The aim of the course is to give an overview of the new topics in V3, to understand the main differences between V3 and earlier ITIL versions, and to achieve the ITIL Foundation Bridging Certificate in IT Service Management. Only existing holders of the ITIL Version 1 and 2 Foundation certificates should attend this course.

The course finishes with a 30 minute multiple choice exam.
